Our 122-bed facility provides a secure yet interactive environment for residents requiring special care due to behavioral health problems. Care is focused on enhancing the lives of residents and is achieved through compassion, consistent routines, activities, exercise, learning coping skills and careful monitoring of medications.

We strive to better understand what our resident's behavioral symptoms are communicating, and to help them understand and manage their own their own behavior. Using positive reinforcement techniques, we promote dignity and a sense of self worth. Compassion, patience, and specially chosen team members who are trained to work with this population in a secure environment make our special care unit a sought-after resource.
